I see moderation as an opportunity to create spaces where genuine connections between people can emerge. For over 20 years, I have worked in front of the camera, on stage, in studios, in companies, and at the microphone. In doing so, it is important to me to bring content to life, make conversations meaningful, and help people consciously and positively use their presence. With a trained eye for the flow of conversation, I perceive what happens between the words and create the framework for energy, connection, and the authenticity of the participants to come to the fore. Reference: Elke Jochmann has been accompanying Hamburg@work as an external moderator since 2006 and is thus a long-standing and highly valued partner of our network. Our collaboration began with the moderation of our trade fair appearance at CeBIT. Since then, Elke Jochmann has moderated numerous events, interviews, and discussion formats for Hamburg@work and has shaped our video formats in the Hamburg@work studio for many years. As a moderator for our SofaTalks and Studio Talks, she conducts conversations with female and male entrepreneurs, executives, and experts from business, science, and society. The topics range from digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new technologies to innovation and sustainability, leadership, corporate culture, and demographic change. What we particularly appreciate about Elke Jochmann is her ability to quickly familiarize herself with new and sometimes complex topics. In doing so, she does not put herself in the spotlight but always focuses on her conversation partners and their topics. Her many years of experience in front of the camera and on stage are combined with a fine sense for people. This is a great added value, especially in interviews.
