E-Casting

An e-casting is the presentation of a model for the customer or the model agency via video. If time is of the essence, or it is too costly for the model appear at a very far away live casting, the agency asks for an electronic casting. This electronic casting is a video in which the model presents herself and plays a small part of the requested film scene. Disadvantages include that the agency prefers to take models that appear at the live casting, and that the models often don’t have professional equipment at home.
